issue one; a beggining

Hello, Its EvaKonaKitty, heres the first post to this subscription. I hope you guys can enjoy.
This is the first issue, so things will be a bit awkward but lets just go through everything smoothly.
dealing with art block
This is something that almost every artist gets, the loss of inspiration or/and motivation. There are several ways to deal with it, I am hoping to share with you, the ones I find most effective.

  • Look through all your old sketchbooks, it is a gold mine of ideas :3
  • Get in comfortable clothes, like pajamas
  • Play music
  • take a break, like a small walk, or getting a drink
If you have tried everything, It could just be that you need to give your mind at least three or more days rest.
The name game ;w;
This is a game I used to play with my friends, and still do today. So I describe a person, place or thing, in a short paragraph, then you draw it, simple X3
"The water was shallow, the strange fish as big as a beach ball swam around the small house, that floated, against the odds of its weight. On its front door sat a young girl, dipping her feet in the cloudy water"

"Torma sat on a small chair, terrified of what might come next. The strange birds were everywhere, circling her. She did her best not to scream and sat extremely still"

"If every moment were as good as this, I would be the happiest person alive. My two best friends were ahead of me, playfully teasing eachother. They looked at me, and Jean snorted 'C'mon, lets get on this ride next' "

Helpful Creativity programs
~PaigeeWorld Paigee world is my favorite place to post art, hang out and have fun. The people there are kind, and helpful ^^ Everyone is fun, and creative, and always there for you. It is a happy trusting community, with everything from drawings, to streams to dta's and even roleplays :3 It is the perfect place to be!
~Charahub I love this website, here you can keep track of all your characters. uploading pictures of them and filling in their information. The terms and conditions are short and easy to understand, and It is neat and easy to keep your characters sorted!

Popular coloring tools that I have used
~Chameleon pens Chameleon pens were my first marker variety, I was awed by the markers ability to switch shades of colors, and to this day, I still use them. They are worth the buy!
~Prismacolors These pencils have every shade of color. The texture is fine and allows you to blend and shade perfectly.

So thats all for now, as really, this is a kickstarter to give you all an idea of what we will be writing about. The next posts should be longer and more interesting. Please feel free to apply for a moderator position :3
